Press release

On January 19th, the Mammoth Community Water District’s Board of Directors appointed Eric Kaufman to fill the vacant Board position following the passing of Director Earl Henderson.

Mr. Kaufman works in financial technology and recently moved
to Mammoth with his wife and two young daughters.

A US Navy veteran from the submarine fleet, Mr. Kaufman studied computer science at the University of Connecticut. As a civilian, he has served as a volunteer fire fighter, a search and rescue team member, and Junior Achievement volunteer.

Mr. Kaufman believes that government transparency, accountability, and responsible management are values to be

The MCWD welcomes Eric Kaufman to the Board of Directors and looks forward to working with him to represent the community of Mammoth Lakes.
