Eastside Roars into the ‘20s at Eastern Sierra Land Trust’s 23rd Anniversary Lands & Legacy Celebration at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area

Bishop, CA  – Eastern Sierra Land Trust (ESLT) invites you to celebrate 23 years of conserving the land in the Eastern Sierra with a Lands & Legacy to celebrate ESLT’s roaring ‘20s. Step back in time and celebrate the vibrant spirit of the Roaring ‘20s at our dinner and celebration on Saturday, October 26th at the iconic Parallax Restaurant on Mammoth Mountain.

For over two decades, ESLT has worked to protect over 23,000 acres of critical wildlife habitat, historic and agricultural resources, and scenic vistas in the Eastern Sierra. By attending the Lands & Legacy Gala, you directly contribute to the conservation of our beloved Eastern Sierra for future generations.

The celebration promises to transport guests to a bygone era of glitz, glamor, and revelry. Attendees are encouraged to don their finest Roaring ‘20s attire for a chance to win the coveted “Best Dressed” award, or just come as you are.  The night includes dinner, open bar, music, and live auction led by Los Angeles auctioneer Michael Ferman.

ESLT is grateful for the ongoing support of local businesses that make this event a success including Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Sierra Solar, Skyline Arborists, and Polemonium Wines.

In addition to the celebration dinner, ESLT is thrilled to announce a special Landscape Watercolor Workshop led by renowned artist and Swall Meadows landowner, Annie Barrett Cashner. This unique workshop, taking place on Friday, October 25th at 10am-1pm, in Swall Meadows on protected ESLT lands, offers a chance to connect with nature’s beauty while learning watercolor painting techniques.

“We are excited to offer this workshop as part of our anniversary celebration,” said Amy Sturgill, ESLT’s Interim Executive Director. “It’s a perfect way to experience the Eastern Sierra’s inspiring landscapes and support our mission.”

The workshop is open to all skill levels, and all materials will be provided. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
