A quiet weather pattern is expected today thru the upcoming Holiday weekend. Your temps will be on the rise as well. So the folks in Independence can look forward to lighter breezes and a daytime high temp of 69° on Sunday. Now onto next week, there is indication that a Pacific trough will slowly shift Southward (from the GLA) to a point off the West coast of CA mid next week. Blended guidance shows a 50% – 60% chance of above normal precipitation over the Sierra by the end of next week.
