FRI JUL 28 2023 – WEEKEND REPORT
A dry SW flow will continue to overspread the Sierra and Western NV, as we still remain between high pressure to the SE and troughing over the NW. So today going into the weeknd, expect seasonal late July heat and very dry, breezy weather. Looking ahead to next week, there are hints of increased t’storm activity, from moisture drawn Northward around the periphery of that big SE H5 ridge. Right now though, it appears there’s only a ~20% chance of storms by mid week, South of US 50. This could change so stay tuned…DMATT
