We are really seeing signs of a restoration of our usual August weather. Even though I cant’ rule out a shower or two over the Crest today, by Saturday a strong ridge of high pressure (heat dome) parked over the Central US nudges closer, providing us with a dry and stable SW flow aloft. So if you like dry weather and gradually warming temperatures this weekend, you’re in luck. Expect steady warming to near August norms (92°) by Sunday in Bishop…DMATT
