Parked off the West Coast, a more potent storm will be picked up by the upper flow and bring rain and mountain snow to our Forecast Area, later today thru Saturday. Light rain in the valleys and mountains, with snow lines 7,500 – 8,000 feet. So right now, Mammoth Main Lodge looks to get 3 – 5 inches and Summit 5 – 8 inches. Ridging builds in Thanksgiving week for dry weather. That’s good news for travelers…DMATT
