Strong, persistent high pressure, will predominate our weather through the work week. A few t’storms are possible along the Sierra Crest today from a building SW flow. As we move into the weekend, that big ridge will shuffle back Westward, resulting in continued hot and dry conditions and a reduction of t’storms. There is little evidence to suggest that our heat wave will go away anytime soon, as the CPC (Climate Prediction Center) 6 – 10 outlook continues to suggest above normal temperatures for our area…DMATT
