Area Forecast Discussion – Tue Jan 16 2023
 
A warm storm will bring just a bit of rain and high elevation snow (maybe 1 inch at the Main Lodge and 2 inches over the Summit) later today into Wednesday AM for Mammoth. Also in the same time frame, the Owens Valley looks to stay mostly dry. After that a ridge re-develops over the Western US through the remainder of the work week. So above average temps and dry weather thru Friday. There are indications of a more progressive pattern setting up in the N. Pacific, which would bring additional warm storms to our region over the weekend. Stay tuned on that…DMATT
