The center of the low we have been talking about is now moving thru the district. Main affect is windy conditions, cold temperatures and scattered to numerous showers. Thunderstorms are possible today as well. The low should reach Utah by late tonight so we should see some clearing tonight into Saturday morning. A cold northerly wind will be with us most of the weekend and dry weather should prevail. A longwave ridge anchors itself near the Pacific Coast, for a continuation of dry weather for most of next week.
