SIERRA JAN 06 2023 —
THE WEEKEND REPORTFinally a brief break with a shortwave ridge today, so some real Sun! Then a medium intensity storm will bring snow to the Sierra over the weekend. Snow estimates, 5 – 10 inches Main Lodge and 16 – 20 inches Summit looks possible by Sunday. Travel impacts once again are likely. Then it looks like another AR will bang into the West Coast on Monday / Tuesday. Longer term, look for an active weather pattern to continue into at least the middle of January, maybe beyond, with significant rain and snow likely. More updates on Monday…DMATT
