Satellite imagery shows a large and cold storm creeping offshore the PACNW Coast. As it gradually shifts East over the Great Basin, breezy to windy weather looks likely in Inyo & Mono Counties. This morning Mammoth could pick up a few snow showers as well, with 1 – 3 inches possible. With this, a sharp cooldown ensues, thru Wednesday with high temps some 5 – 10 degrees below normal. I am not thrilled about the cooler temperatures, but such is Spring in the Eastern Sierra. But by the latter part of the week, high pressure works its way back into the area, for an uptick in temperatures by the weekend…DMATT
