SIERRA JAN 13 2023 — THE WEEKEND REPORT
If you like snow & rain, then today, Friday the 13th is the start of your lucky period. Going into the weekend, we have 2 distinct AR driven storms. After a low impact system today, then a stronger system will slide in over the weekend bringing snow heavy at times over Mammoth and rain / snow in the Owens Valley. After that a follow up system Monday MLK Day into Tuesday. These storms will show little rest for the mountains, with seemingly continuous snowfall. Very windy over the Crest. A pattern flip is possible by the end of next week, favoring a ridge developing over the PACNW and NORCAL. We will have to wait and see how this pans out…DMATT
