Synopsis – THU JAN 02 2025

I hope you all had a Great New Year’s Day. Dry weather today for all, then a quick hitting, weak storm will affect Mammoth mostly Friday night. Not much snow is expected then, maybe an inch or two at the Main Lodge. After that, a dry pattern begins, as a very large ridge of high pressure sets up along the West Coast and dominates our weather. This ridge will block any / all storms from the West Coast. Expect dry weather to continue into the second week of January….This is Dennis Mattinson in 2025, my 18th year broadcasting the weather for Sierra Wave Media.
