Synopsis – FRI JAN 17 2025

A series of moisture starved shortwave troughs will impact our region starting today. Very little moisture comes with these systems, but they will bring gusty winds and progressive cooling. By late Sunday into Monday, the strongest of these inside sliders will introduce very cold air, with gusty and frigid conditions. How cold? Right now it looks like Bishop will see a low of 16° Monday night. Once this system passes, high pressure will rebound with slight moderating temperatures and continued dry conditions. How long will we stay dry? Through at least Jan 24th. Have a Great Go Do It Weekend…DMATT
