Synopsis – WED JAN 15 2025

Milder temperatures today, as high pressure strengthens a bit. Along with this, lighter winds. By the weekend, another cold, dry front moves through, with the bulk of its moisture out of our area. As of right now then, dry conditions thru the weekend. The long range CPC outlook out 14 days is not a snow lover’s dream for the Eastern Sierra. It shows below normal precipitation and below normal temperatures. A persistent upper ridge over the EPAC / West Coast is keeping the main moisture flow to our North…DMATT
