Synopsis – THU FEB 06 2025
The next storm system will roll into our Forecast Area later today into Friday. This system has a bit more moisture and better dynamics. Expect snow heavy at times in the mountains, with strong winds and snow levels down to 6K feet, then rise to 7,500 feet by tonight in Mono County. Another 10 – 16 inches at the Main Lodge and up to 18 inches over the summit is expected. For The Owens Valley, a 50 – 60% chance of showers, with winds gusting to ~40 mph. The weekend should be clear and dry with cooler temperatures…DMATT
