Area Forecast Discussion
Owens Valley / Mammoth Lakes / Mono County / Death Valley
Dennis Mattinson / Sierra Atmospheric Forecaster

Synopsis – FRI DEC 27 2024

A series of quick hitting, weak storms will affect our Forecast area, tonight into Friday, then a final storm Sunday. Not big storms at all, with maybe 5 – 10 inches of snow total in Mammoth by Sunday. The Owens Valley looks to get a slight chance of a rain / snow mix here and there as well. Breezy to windy weather will accompany these systems. Right now, starting next week should be dry and it looks like we’ll ring in the New Year on a dry note as well…DMATT
