Synopsis – Thu Dec 19 2024

High pressure continues to sit over our region, bringing dry weather and light winds. As such, Valley inversions continue to be a possibility. Looking ahead to next week, the main plume of moisture will be from an AR aimed at the Cascades and NORCAL. But at the least, a series of gradually stronger storms look like Saturday thru Christmas week, particularly in Mammoth. Temps will be on the warm side, so snow levels could be in the 7K – 8K elevations. Now there’s plenty of detail to be ironed out, so stay tuned for updates Friday…DMATT
