Synopsis – THU AUG 21 2025

An area of high pressure continues to strengthen over 4-corners, resulting in hot conditions. With its clockwise rotation, it will also spin up Monsoon moisture from the Gulf of Mexico into our area by Friday and into the weekend. Right now PWATs look to run in the 150% above normal range over the weekend. Flash flooding in canyon areas is highly possible. More updates tomorrow…DMATT
