Synopsis – TUE OCT 14 2025

Potent early season storm continues to bring snow to the Sierra, rain to the valleys and a big drop in temps today. The main story is a Winter-like system sliding into our area from the PACNW. Snow levels could drop down to 6,000 – 7,000 feet and dump as much as 18 inches of new snow in Mammoth and 5 – 10 inches in Aspendell. Windy as well, with gusts to 40+ mph in parts of the Owens Valley. Storm kicks out by Wednesday, leaving behind quite cool temps for October…DMATT
