Synopsis – FRI JUL 11 2025

A prolonged heat wave is in the cards starting today, as strong high pressure sits over the Great Basin and the Desert SW.
As such expect temps to run some 5+ degress above normal through the period. In addition wildfire smoke from NORCAL and Oregon may advect some smoke into our Forecast Area. Afternoon Zephyr winds will persist along the Sierra front, at 20 – 25 mph…DMATT
