Synopsis – WED JAN 07 2026

One last snow total after our weekend storm, the Summit saw 42 inches of new snow in 48 hours! A cut off low will bring a very slight chance of a shower or two in Mammoth tonight into Thursday. After that we have a strong ridge of high pressure locked over us until about mid January. Even after that, what storms move in look weak and moisture starved. We will see how things pan out.
