Synopsis – TUE JAN 13 2026

We are struck in a dry pattern for at least the next 10 days. Even after that, some long range models keep us dry until the last week of January. You can blame this on a very strong ridge of high pressure over the West (for this time of year). When we have a long dry pattern in the middle of Winter in January like this, it tends to break in February and March, to a wetter one. I will keep my eye on all this for you…DMATT
