Synopsis – WED SEP 10 2025

The Garnet Fire continues to rage, bringing smoke and visibility problems to parts the Owens Valley and Mammoth. Large low pressure near the NORCAL / OR coast will gradually move inland bringing cooler temps and a taste of Fall to our area this week. This action will bring light precipitation to the higher terrain of our Forecast Area (think Mammoth). Otherwise comfortable temps will be in order leading into the weekend…DMATT
