Synopsis – THU MAR 19 2026

Early season, long duration heatwave goes on. As our amazingly strong ridge of high pressure moves closer to our area, temps will continue to rise, into record shattering proportions, today and tomorrow. As it does, snow melt over the lower elevations in Mammoth continues. That large ridge looks to weaken over this weekend, but don’t expect much relief, with maybe 10° on Sunday in Bishop. I guess we will take what we can get, right?…DMATT
