Synopsis – FRI JAN 23 2026

Save for a few snowflakes yesterday in Mammoth and Aspendell, from a weak cut off low, this forecast sounds like a broken record. That’s because the weather has been a broken record. There’s a trough to the East and a ridge to our West. An all too familiar sight this Winter. That means the cold and snow stay East and the dry and warm stay West. So the end of January looks to stay dry. The good news is that in many slow moisture years, we see a good ramp up by mid Februrary…DMATT
