​Declaration of Intention Extension Period

​February 4, 2026 – 5 p.m.

​Inyo County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar Danielle M. Sexton would like to notify voters that the Declaration of Intention period for Judicial Candidates running for Judge of the Superior Court, Seat #1 (6-year term) has been extended till February 9, 2026. Any qualified members of the public interested in being a candidate for this position in the June 2, 2026, Statewide Primary Election are to contact the Inyo County Elections Office to receive further information.

​Pursuant to Elections Code § 8023, all candidates for judicial office must file a declaration of intention no later than February 4, 2026. If the incumbent of a judicial office does not file a declaration of intention by this due date, the due date for that office is to be extended five days to any qualified persons other than the incumbent.

​The following judicial candidates have formally filed their Notice of Intention:

​Judge of the Superior Court #1: Dana Crom, Tylor Fitzmaurice

​Judge of the Superior Court #2: Stephen Place*, Gerard Harvey
