UPDATE: Man wanted for illegal acts of vandalism at Death Valley National Park (Posted 4/14/2020)

The original story of vandalism the Sierra Wave posted on April 14 generated great indignation from park visitors.

Charges have not been filed again the man yet. Penalties could include a fine and/or restitution charges. The man’s cooperative attitude will likely be a mitigating factor.

He “exonerated” his dog, Lacy, which only goes to prove that “you can pick your friends, but not your relatives’…unless, of course, you are a dog. While a dog might well be “man’s best friend,” what choice does it really have?

The official press release below from Death Valley National Park Service gives more details.
