Congressman Kevin Kiley Calls for a Vote on His Bill to Ban Mid-Decade Redistricting

WASHINGTON – Congressman Kevin Kiley (R-CA) spoke on the House floor today about the ongoing redistricting battle in California.

“California politicians, led by the Governor, are throwing a grenade at our Constitution in order to strip power from voters and seize it for themselves,” Rep. Kiley said. “This fraud on our electorate compels action by Congress to protect the representative form of government that citizens of every state are due. That’s why I am calling for a prompt vote on House Resolution 4889.”
