(Press Release)
The Mammoth Lakes Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will conduct the 6th CERT Academy on three consecutive Saturdays: October 19, 26 and November 2 from 9am to 5pm. This Academy will help prepare you on a personal level for any community emergency situation, and as a CERT member you become qualified to assist first responders in local emergencies. An informational meeting is set for Thursday, October 3rd.
The Academy is free to anyone who lives or works in the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Once you have completed the 24 hour Academy training, you are eligible to become a member of Mammoth Lakes CERT. However, there is no obligation to join.
Any questions regarding the upcoming Academy can be answered at the informational meeting to be held at the Best Western Thursday, October 3rd from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting.
Please RSVP by email to [email protected] or call Sergeant Marc Moscowitz at 760-914-1880.
