BISHOP – Caltrans launched an online survey today for a proposed Complete Streets project that will upgrade pedestrian facilities along State Route 168/West Line Street from just west of Meadow Lane to Barlow Lane.
The Manor Market Complete Streets Project, which is currently in the Planning phase, could add ADA-compliant sidewalks, bulb-outs, crosswalks, a median pedestrian refuge area, and flashing beacons to this stretch of SR 168 W. There are two alternative designs under consideration and one no-build alternative.
The survey is open to all members of the public from now until October 30, 2022. This is not an official public comment period on the project, but rather a way for Caltrans to identify pedestrian needs on this stretch of State Route 168/West Line Street.

Send in your comments., I can’t be the only one that thinks the previous “enhancements” to Line street were unnecessary and a pain in the posterior to frequent users of this roadway…..BobK
