Café Crêpe Grand Opening: Ribbon Cutting Event

On Thursday June 13th, Café Crêpe celebrated their grand opening with a successful ribbon-cutting event, despite already being part of the community.

Café Crêpe, located in the Outbound parking lot, is a food truck that offers authentic French crêpes, gourmet coffee, and espresso drinks. Founded by AJ and Leslie Rubiner, Café Crêpe is dedicated to serving high-quality, freshly sourced ingredients with a commitment to environmental sustainability. Leslie moved to California from France in 2018 to pursue her passion for cooking,

Café Crêpe offers many plant-based and vegetarian options, they use organic and fair-trade coffee, and take steps to reduce waste through recyclable packaging and composting all coffee and produce waste.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 4 pm–marking a new chapter for the food truck–drew a significant turnout of local supporters. Café Crêpe expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the community for their ongoing support, emphasizing their commitment to providing delicious and healthy food in a beautiful outdoor setting.

“After being a part of this wonderful community for some time, we were excited to reintroduce ourselves with a bang,” said AJ, “and make Mammoth Lakes our home”, added Leslie Rubiner, owners of Café Crêpe.

Café Crêpe is proud to be a member of the Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce, which organized the event as part of the benefits offered to Chamber members. The Chamber’s support was instrumental in making the grand opening a memorable success.
