On Tuesday night the Broncos hosted Cal City for their last home game of the regular season. Junior Varsity played a great match that they won 25-19 and 25-22.
It was Senior Night for the Broncos, which brought bittersweet tears and hugs to the gym before Varsity took the floor. The five Seniors played amazingly for what could be their last home game as Broncos, and they certainly helped carry Bishop to a thrilling 5-set victory over Cal City (23-25, 25-21, 25-11, 21-25, 15-11). For the Seniors, Delaney Kalk had 12 kills with zero hitting errors, Peyton Kalk tallied 7 kills, and Elizabeth Ellsworth registered 9 kills and 5 solo blocks. Meghenna Westervelt dished out 28 assists, and Scout Flynn had 11 digs.
The Broncos hit the road Thursday for their final travel game against Boron before CIF brackets are announced Saturday.
