CNISSF Races 1 and 2 Results – 2026
The BUHS Bronco Ski Race Team participated in races 1 and 2 of the South 2 Division of the California Nevada Ski and Snowboard Federation on January 15 and 16. Mammoth High School, Rim of the World High School, and Campbell Hall Episcopal High School were the other teams competing along with Bishop Union High School in these Alpine ski races held at Mammoth Mountain. Twelve Bronco skiers participated in the two Giant Slalom (GS) races on the first day and two Slalom (SL) races held on Friday.
For the girls’ team, senior Teagan Orr finished 12th and 13th in the two GS races and 11th place in both SL races. Junior Eden Felde had 13 and 15 place finishes in the GS races and a 14 place finish in the SL race. Freshman Charlee Morriss had a 16 place finish in the GS race and 13 and 15 place finishes in the SL races.
For the boys’ team, Senior Body Berkovatz finished 10th and 14th place in the SG races and 10th in the SL races. Sophomore Zavi Cockley had 8th and 12th place finishes in the SG races and a solid 7th place finish in the SL race. Sophomore Brad Rockwell had a 15th and 16th place finish in GS races and finished 15th and 18th in the SL races. Five enthusiastic Freshmen joined the team this year and in these first races they were determined to kick up the competition. Banyan Fulkerson finished 13 and 16 in the GS races and 8 and 9 in the SL races. William Gratz placed 17th in both GS races and finished 10 and 15 in the SL races. Liam Livingston finished 18 in the GS race and 12th in both SL races. Augie Warburton placed 19 in both GS races and 13 and 14 in the SL races. Cosmo Schwartz finished 13 and 14 in the SL races.
