The BUHS Boys Soccer team hosted Cal City last night and came away with a strong 3–1 victory. Armando Santana and Charlie Trefry each found the back of the net for the Broncos, while Cosmo Schwartz added a goal and an assist. Angel Medina contributed with an assist as well.

Coach Landaverde said the win was especially hard-fought, noting that Cal City entered the match unbeaten in the High Desert League. With the victory, the Broncos improve to 6–0 on the season and move into first place.

Player of the Game honors go to Brady Johnson, whose defensive efforts shut down Cal City’s strikers and limited their scoring chances.

The Broncos return to action on Tuesday, hosting Mojave at home with kickoff set for 5 p.m.
