Broncos Stay Undefeated with Gritty 5–4 Win Over Rosamond
The BUHS Broncos protected their home field in dramatic fashion Tuesday night, edging Rosamond 5–4 in a hard-fought battle that came down to the final moments.
The match was tightly contested from start to finish, with Armando Santana delivering a standout performance. Santana recorded a hat trick to earn Player of the Game honors. Charlie Trefry also made a major impact, scoring twice and adding an assist to fuel the Broncos’ offense.
Despite battling key injuries, the Broncos showed resilience, toughness, and heart throughout the match.
“This was a tough game for us with injuries on the team,” said Coach Landaverde. “But the boys played strong, competed the entire match, and never gave up.”
The win keeps the Broncos unbeaten at 12–0 and firmly in first place in the league standings.
The Broncos will now turn their attention to Thursday’s road matchup against Desert, where they’ll look to keep their perfect season rolling.
