Bishop Varsity Volleyball travelled to Lone Pine Tuesday 8/29 for a volleyball match and returned home with a victory. The highlights of the match versus the Eagles are as follow:
Peyton Kalk had an amazing outing with 8 kills and zero hitting errors! Junior Liz Ellsworth was Peyton’s partner in crime as she also dominated the net with 7 kills and 2 blocks. Junior Meghenna Westervelt succeeded in her first outing as an outside hitter with an impressive positive hitting percentage and zero errors.
All of these attackers were made to look good by libero Sophie Dishion’s serve receive talent, and the beautiful sets of sophomore Riley Van Nest resulting in 27 assists.
Scout Flynn and Sienna Fuller supported the Broncos with 100% serving.
Bishop Volleyball begins league play on Tuesday 9/5 at Kern Valley.
