Bishop varsity softball hosted Boron for the first league game of 2026 season.  Bishop lost 8 to 9.

Sadie Mairs was on the mound for all seven innings, allowing 10 hits, 6 walks, 1 hit by pitch and 4 strike outs

Bishop gave up 5 unearned runs.

Bishop led the game going into the 7th inning 8 to 3.  Bishop allowed 6 runs, and could not

score in the bottom of the 7th.

 

Offensively for Bishop,

 

Faye Spoonhunter was 3 for 3 with a sacrifice bunt, 3 stolen bases, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.

Tannyr Ludwick was 2 for 3 with 1 walk and 3 RBIs

Azul Aranzubia was 2 for 3 with 1 run scored

Braydee Momberg was 1 for 4 with 1 run scored

Sadie Mairs was 1 for 3 with 1 hit by pitch, 1 stolen base and 1 run scored

Cambrie Lanphear was 1 for 3 with 1 stolen base, 1 RBI and 1 run scored

Laila Beall was 1 for 3 with 1 run scored

Avery McGraw was 1 for 4 with 1 RBI

Ellie Boyd had 2 stolen bases and 1 run scored

 

Bishop out hit Boron 12 to 10.
