Fatal Vehicle vs. E-Bike Collision

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximately 11:21 a.m., the Bishop Police Department was notified by the Bishop Fire Department of a vehicle vs. E-Bike collision at the intersection of N. Fowler Street and Church Street in the City of Bishop.

Bishop Fire Department personnel arrived first on scene and confirmed the incident involved a vehicle and an E-Bike where the bicyclist sustained major injuries. Fire personnel provided immediate medical care until Sierra Life Flight arrived on scene. The bicyclist was transported to Northern Inyo Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
