The Bishop Broncos varsity volleyball team beat Kern Valley volleyball at home Thursday 9/28 in 4 sets with scores of 25-9, 18-25, 266-24, 25-19. The Broncos are now 6-2 in League play.

The team victory was due largely to the excellent serve receives by the entire team, being led by libero Sophie Dishion. The excellent sets by setter Riley Van Nest resulted in 23 assists that led to 27 kills, led by Delaney Kalk with 10, Peyton Kalk with 7, Lilly Morrison with 6, and Meghenna Westervelt with 3.

The blocking by the Broncos was also stellar with Peyton Kalk and Riley Van Nest collecting 3 solo blocks each, and Lilly Morrison and Liz Ellsworth collecting two each as well.

The broncos have a tough schedule next week traveling to Frazier Mountain on Tuesday and hosting Mammoth on Thursday.
