Sierra Burror ran in four separate races and won them all. Junior Alexis Eide earned first in the triple jump, second in the long jump, second in 100 meters, and was a member of the 4×100 meter relay team. Congratulations to freshman Ashley Fitt for earning four, second-place finishes in the 1600 meters, the 800 meters, 3200 meters, and the 300-meter hurdles.
Track events require a great deal of support to ensure a quality experience for the athletes and the team was fortunate enough to have many people who helped to make the meet possible, including the supporting families of athletes (especially the Fitt family), BUHS teachers who help support meet operations and recruit students to the team, and BUHS staff who helped to make sure the facilities were in order (Franz’s help installing the new jumping runway was essential and it looks great) (Jose helped make the track and field look beautiful on race day). Thank you all for your help and support.
