Visit California announced the finalists for the 2020 Poppy Awards, the Golden State’s biennial celebration of its best and brightest tourism marketing efforts.

Tawni Thompson Bishop Chamber Executive director writes:” This is quite literally a “dream come true” for me!  Well, not just me, but for our entire team of dedicated individuals that work so hard to promote our region!  We’ve always believed Bishop deserves to be recognized as a premier California destination and we’re so honored and excited to be recognized at the upcoming Outlook conference.”

This really is a BIG deal for our Small Town with a BIG Backyard! Having  made the finalist list in two categories .

“Even if we don’t win the grand prize in either category, it’s still terrific that we’ve been nominated. We’ll find out who all of the winners are at the conference February 10 & 11.  Fingers crossed!” Thompson concluded.

Congratulations on some truly impressive entries! Finalists will be recognized and winners announced at the 2020 Poppy Awards following the end of Outlook Forum in San Diego on February 11.
