On October 5, 2022, Betty Lou Keener died in Bishop, California of cancer. She was 88 years old.

Betty was born on December 10, 1933, in Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Elvin and Lucy Langston.

She graduated from Lone Pine High School in 1951.

Betty married Leon in 1951. They welcomed Rodney E. Keener in 1952 and Kristy R. Keener in 1955.

They shared 59 years of marriage together.
Betty is survived by her brother Larry Langston of Lone Pine, Ca.; grandchildren, Travis Keener, Ethan Keener, Jonathan Keener, Harrison Keener and Becca Lampshire and great-granddaughter Charlie Keener.

She was preceded in death by husband Leon in 2010, son Rodney in 2014 and daughter Kristy in 2015.

A Celebration of Life for Betty is scheduled for Sunday, October 23 at 3 p.m. at Highlands Senior Clubhouse.
