Beloved Sister and Aunt, Cynthia Dee Williams (Sue). Born Feb 8th, 1949 – Died June 27th, 2025.

It is with a sad heart, we’re letting family and friends know of her passing.

Cynthia was born and raised in Bishop, California. After graduating from Bishop High school in 1967 she left to work and study in Los Angeles. She worked hard in the different jobs she had throughout the years, going through Los Angeles to Garden Grove back to Los Angeles then finally returning home to Bishop in the late 90s and early 2000s. She worked at CDD in Bishop until she retired, she enjoyed going out to lunch with family and friends, always getting a milkshake to go. She was part of a movement on Alcatraz Island for “A.I.M.”, it was to protest against federal policies and a broader movement for Native American rights, though she only stayed for a while. What made her recognizable however was when she would drive around in her sparkling blue 1968 chevy camaro RS, it was the only car she ever owned, it wasn’t brand new either but she worked on it and kept it shining since she saw it as her baby. There were a couple times it was stolen, having been taken to Colorado to Oklahoma on two separate times and yet every time she was able to get it back, showing that she would have done anything to keep her car but it also showed that the camaro was always meant to be hers. There were many people that were involved in her life that she cared for, she was a big part of a big family, she was kind and caring and will be missed greatly.

Those who parted before her are her brothers, James, Scotty, Kelly, and Curtis and her parents Frances Louis Salazar (mother), Alec Williams (father) and grandmother, Nellie Salazar. Cynthia will be leaving behind three brothers who are Robert Mallory, Mike Williams, and Gary Clark, and two sons, Troy and Delmar Sepsey and many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank all those who supported and loved her, for supporting us in these hard times with her gone.

The funeral will be held at Sunland Cemetery on July 12th at 10am.

Aunty Cynthia
