On December 4, 2025, District Attorney Dana Crom formally announced her intention to run for the position of Inyo County Superior Court Judge. As a lifelong resident of Inyo County, Crom’s announcement coincides with her 35th year as a licensed attorney, a career marked by fairness and steadfast dedication to the law and the citizens of her community.
Throughout her distinguished career, Crom has embraced a collaborative approach to justice, working closely with law enforcement, justice-involved partners, victims, families, and community leaders. Her efforts have fostered a climate of fairness and respect within the legal community. Reflecting on her motivations, Crom stated, “My decision to run comes at a time when our community rightfully deserves a justice system with strong leadership, experience and accountability. My extensive background in both criminal and civil law, coupled with over three decades of experience and community involvement, solidified my reputation as a dedicated and respected member of our legal community.”
Looking ahead, Crom’s vision centers on restoring trust and ensuring that everyone interacting with the judicial system feels respected and heard. Her campaign focuses on upholding the integrity of the court and making certain that every voice in Inyo County is valued.
