Yosemite National Park officials have issued a safety advisory after geologists detected a significant new fracture forming along a granite cliff face in a popular area of the park. While rockfall is a natural and ongoing process in Yosemite’s rugged terrain, experts say the size and rapid development of this particular crack warrants heightened caution.
