Synopsis – TUE JAN 28 2025

Brisk NE winds today, with lighter winds on Wednesday. Along with this Mammoth will have a few snow flurries as that closed slowly moves East. Mammoth Main ended with 5 inches and the Summit 9 inches. Temps will warm up gradually by midweek, as a ridge axis shifts off the CA coast. As January transitions into February, we at last may get some weather systems from the Pacific, with the first possibility arriving late Friday. There are plenty of details to sort out, but it does look like February will bring some needed precipitation to our Forecast Area. Stay tuned…DMATT
