Synopsis – TUE JAN 21 2025

After a cold MLK Day, ridging returns today thru Thursday, with temps moving to above normal. We still remain on the dry side, but by the weekend we will see something not reported for a while. That something is Precipitation! High pressure flattens, as a weak trough out of Canada could bring us a chance of rain / snow showers late Friday thru the weekend. Right now my confidence is low, as the CPC’s 6 – 10 day outlook is for low chances of precipitation. I should get a clearer picture on this soon, so stay tuned for updates…DMATT
