Synopsis – MON JAN 20 2025

An inside slider type system arrived in our area late Sunday into today, bringing with an increase of NE ridge top winds (60 – 80 mph) and a 10 degree drop in temps. What it will NOT bring is any precipitation! High pressure returns Tuesday, with temps slowly returning to seasonal. By this coming Saturday, Ensemble Forecast Models is still trying to break down the ridge, but right now I have low confidence in this solution. We could just get a drop in temps and an increase in ridgetop winds. We will see…DMATT
