Synopsis – Mon Dec 09 2024

Persistent blocking pattern along with a shallow dry cold front (Sunday/Sunday night) will bring dry weather and notable cooling today to our Forecast area. By mid/late this week another weak, dry shortwave, will help to re-open the door that’s been largely shut since thanksgiving. The trend is towards a wetter system moving through the area about Saturday and Sunday. However right now the strength of this system is trending weaker. This bears watching as we move along closer to the upcoming weekend…DMATT
